Sunekos

Sunekos is a brand new injectable treatment that regenerates ageing skin and restores a natural-looking and youthful appearance. Using a combination of amino acids and hyaluronic acid, this treatment targets the layers of skin, deeply hydrating and rejuvenating the tissue. This treatment is excellent for those who want to stop the early signs of ageing and want to get rid of loose, thin and wrinkly skin.

So how does it work? Sunekos is made up of a patented formula of hyaluronic acid (HA) and amino acids. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring acid that is very important for the skin’s hydration, firmness, and elasticity. HA has been shown in clinical trials to activate bio-revitalisation of the skin, which results in smoother, firmer and more youthful-looking skin. It directly hydrates the skin to make it brighter and smoother, and it also stimulates fibroblast cells. These fibroblast cells produce more collagen and elastin, two proteins that are essential for firm and elastic skin. Amino acids are the building blocks for protein, so they are vital. They are used to make collagen and elastin proteins, which we know are essential for that firm and tight look. The amino acids include Glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine HCl, L-valine, L-alanine. Altogether, they help regenerate the skin layers and restore a youthful appearance.

Sunekos comes in two types, Sunekos 200 and Sunekos 1200. Sunekos 200 can be used on the eyes, face, neck, chest and hands. It is the first-line treatment for the early signs of ageing. Sunekos 1200 is used in adjunct with Sunekos 200 and is for skin that needs extra support, tackling advanced ageing and sagging skin.

What can I expect on treatment day?

Before treatment, our lead practitioner Dr Fidal will consult with you to find out exactly how we can help you and what treatment is most suitable for your goals. Dr Fidal will explain the procedure and answer any questions you may have. Once that is sorted, you are ready to get started. A small numbing cream is applied to the treatment area to minimise any discomfort. The injections are delivered, then you are free to go. There is no downtime, and you can resume your daily life straight away. The treatment usually takes between 30-60 mins, with results taking roughly 3-6 weeks to appear and lasting for 4-6 months. We recommend 2-4 treatments, depending on how large the area is and how much work is needed.
